At the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy you can help to shape the UK’s future and contribute to delivering our ambitious Industrial Strategy. We are looking for outstanding candidates who can demonstrate leadership potential to join our 2 leadership programmes, dependent on level of experience, where you will work as a Policy Officer within our diverse and exciting policy portfolios:

  • Graduate programme - this is targeted at recent graduates with outstanding potential
  • Experienced Entrant programme - this is for those with at least 3 years relevant work experience who would like to further their development in policy and leadership
Both schemes involve 2 12-month placements, providing development opportunities which will best place you for a quick progression.
