Get your paper work in place to ensure smooth trade with the EU

SWLEP’s Growth Hub is helping businesses in Swindon and Wiltshire adjust to EU transition.

The team is making and receiving over 200 calls a week to offer advice and connect businesses with specialist support.

A common problem has been getting the right paperwork in place for customs so that goods get to their destination in time. Without the right details, goods can get stuck on either side of the border and may even have unexpected duties applied.

Businesses need to ensure they have the correct details including an EORI number and proof of origin for the products they are trading.
