Swindon and Wiltshire's Energy Future: Setting the Agenda

Swindon
Excalibur Communications, 3 Arclite House, Century Road

SWLEP calls on business to be at the heart of its Energy Strategy asking: How can we ensure sustainable energy is supplied, generated and used across #Swindon & #Wiltshire?

The Swindon and Wiltshire LEP are calling on businesses to tell it about local energy sectors, to ensure its Energy Strategy is fit for the economic needs of the area. At a specially organised event it will ask business: What needs to be done to unlock smart energy opportunities in the local area to ensure energy is supplied, generated and used across Swindon and Wiltshire?

The SWLEP Energy Strategy will identify existing constraints and look to opportunities for sustainable growth and energy security. The Partnership is keen to ensure that local business concerns and aspirations are at the heart of the plan for future energy provision.

On 27 February 2018, in Swindon, the Partnership will meet with energy experts and local businesses to hear about the investments and technologies required for a more sustainable future. And businesses are invited to tell the LEP about the energy constraints affecting the bottom-line, the practicalities of taking more control of energy costs and the opportunities from clean growth, hydrogen and smart energy systems.
