The first Creative Business Networking event on 21 November
Since this talk was first planned a wealth of studies  have reported that people spend more time on smart phones than sleeping, more time on social media than eating  and urged consumers to spend more time alone, with their family, in nature, naked or in Germany.  Not necessarily at the same time.

Hidden in this flood of advice are some surprisingly consistent aspects of consumer behaviour. This briefing will shed light on these and discuss what they mean for businesses who want to offer greater value to consumers and gain value for themselves.

Agenda

6:30pm Briefing led by Dave Smith (Bath Business School)

7:30pm Networking with refreshments

8:00pm Close

It’s said that customers are “time poor,” that attention spans are shrinking and even the best products and experiences are quickly forgotten by customers. It ain't necessarily so. This briefing draws on cutting edge research into consumer time and the work of leading companies to give insight into how you can build value for customers using time, and manage how you are remembered... or forgotten.

Dave Smith (Senior Lecturer in Business and Management) will lead you through the research and allow an exploration of what this may mean for future marketing, business development, and customer journeys.

The Creative Business Network aims to provide insights and specialist knowledge, along with access to our fantastic student talent, dynamic academic research, and an expanding business cluster across the south west.

The event is free to attend but booking is essential
