The Government has reopened the RDPE Rural Growth Programme for applications.Following the earlier rounds which saw £100m of grant awarded, a further £35m is being made available under this new round.
This workshop will explain to rural located firms in Swindon and Wiltshire can access the funds for business growth, tourism and food production projects which develop new products, upgrade equipment, take forward efficiency drives and create jobs.
With a smaller minimum grant size of £20,000 smaller projects can be delivered with support in the round of funding.
Expressions of Interest close at midnight on 16th February 2020.
At the workshop the Defra's delivery arm, the Rural Payments Agency will go through what makes a strong application, and the Swindon and Wiltshire Growth Hub and the local LEADER programme managers will be on hand as you begin your application, or perhaps talk through how you will fine-tune your proposal you've been working on.
PLEASE NOTE: The same event will occur twice - first on 29th November in Warminster and then on 12th December at Lyneham. There is no need to attend both events.
This event is being very kindly hosted by Greenway Training, a farm-based LANTRA-approved training provider offering a wide variety of courses at its dedicated classroom and workshop facilities.
