While the government has announced various schemes aimed at helping small companies deal with the impact of coronavirus which we're tracking here, other organisations have launched funds to support entrepreneurs, community groups, social enterprises and freelancers.

Fund for young entrepreneurs from The Prince's Trust

Supporting business owners between 18 and 30 years old, The Prince's Trust and Natwest has announced a £5m fund to help young self-employed individuals and business owners. In conjunction with cash grants, the initiative offer one-to-one support and guidance to anyone who needs it and who may be worried about their future. To find out more, click here.

Pay it Forward from Crowdfunder and Enterprise Nation

Enterprise Nation has teamed up with Crowdfunder to enable small businesses to pre-sell their services now on a promise to their customers that they can redeem them later to help them through the coronavirus crisis.

Through Pay it Forward, small businesses can set up a Pay it Forward campaign to pre-book things like meals, a room for the night or a ticket to an event based on a promise to deliver in the future. Crowdfunder will cover all platform and transaction fees.

Facebook small business grants programme

Facebook is offering $100m in grants and advertising credits to 30,000 small businesses around the world. Find out more here.

Emergency fund from Arts Council England

Arts Council England has launched a £160m emergency fund for individuals and organisations working in the cultural sector. Find out more here.

National Emergencies Trust fund 

Smaller charities, not for profit organisations, social enterprises and unregistered community groups can apply for grants of up to £10,000 to help them deliver support to vulnerable groups within their communities. Organisations should contact their local community foundation to apply for funding. You can search for your local foundation here.

Soho Theatre Fleabag Support Fund

The Fleabag Support Fund is a emergency support fund for UK freelancers in the theatre industry.

Distributed by DryWrite, the fund will provide grants of £2,500 to theatre freelancers who are unable to work as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. The scheme is currently crowdfunding and proceeds from downloads of Phoebe Waller-Bridge's Fleabag will be contributed to the fund. More details here.

Help Musicians Coronavirus Financial Hardship Fund

Help Musicians have set up the Coronavirus Support Fund in an attempt to alleviate some of the immediate financial pressures that many professional musicians may be facing. Eligible musicians are able to apply for a one-off payment of £500 here.

National Lottery Heritage Fund Emergency Fund

The National Lottery Heritage Fund has put together a £50million fund to support the heritage sector as an immediate response to the coronavirus outbreak.  More information here.

BenSoc fund for photographers

BenSoc, a charity which supports professional photographers and photography lab technicians, is offering small grants. More details here

Youth Music Network Emergency Fund (England)

Youth Music has launched an emergency fund to offer additional support to music-making organisations affected by coronavirus. Grants of up to £10,000 are available. More information here.

Creative Scotland fund 

Funding between £1,000 and £50,000 is available for freelance and self-employed artists and creative practitioners in Scotland as well as organisations and groups based in Scotland whose work or project involves the arts, screen and creative industries. More information here.

Community Foundation Wales Coronavirus Resilience Fund

This fund has been established to assist groups and organisations that are adapting their services and support to individuals and families, whether singly or collectively, affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. More information here

Neighbourly Community Fund

With the support of M&S, Lidl, Aldi, Danone and Coca-Cola European Partners, Neighbourly has launched micro-grants of up to £400 to support good causes that are helping communities affected by the coronavirus outbreak. More details here.

Covid-19 Film and TV Emergency Relief Fund

The BFI and The Film and TV Charity have partnered to create a fund with a £1m donation from Netflix to help support the creative community. More information here.

Ocean Outdoor advertising fund for SMEs

A fund with a media value of £10m will give businesses access to advertising space across Ocean screens in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, London, Bristol and Southampton. The fund will be administered in partnership with local authorities. Businesses can register their interest here.
