Swindon and Wiltshire Growth Hub to Support Businesses Impacted by Flooding

By Tim Burghes,

Wiltshire Council is committed to supporting the local business community following the severe flooding caused by Storm Bert, which affected Chippenham, Bradford-on-Avon and other areas across the county.

To monitor the extent of the damage and understand the specific needs of businesses, the Swindon and Wiltshire Growth Hub will be collecting information and data from affected companies. This initiative will help ensure the council and its partners are well-informed and able to provide targeted assistance should support become available.

Businesses impacted by the flooding are encouraged to share details about their situation with the Growth Hub. Information gathered will be used to:

  • Assess the scale of the damage to the local economy.
  • Identify businesses most in need of support.
  • Inform future funding opportunities or other resources that may become available.

Wiltshire Council and the Swindon and Wiltshire Growth Hub will liaise directly with businesses to provide updates as more information about potential assistance emerges.

To share details of how your business has been affected, please contact the Swindon and Wiltshire Growth Hub at:
