Mitie is a strategic outsourcing and energy company that provides professional services to businesses in the UK, Ireland, and Western Europe. They work with a range of sectors, from Healthcare and Legal, to Leisure, Retail, and Transport.
Established in 1987, Mitie has become a UK market leader, with their diverse service offering including facilities management, consultancy, project management, and energy and healthcare services.
Due to their continued success, Mitie decided to expand beyond their Bristol headquarters, which led to them opening their office in Fareham more than 20 years ago. In 2012, they decided to extend their presence beyond Fareham by opening another UK-based office.
When it came to choosing a location for their new office space, this needed to be easy for their clients to reach from other parts of the UK, as well as having a direct connection to their Bristol headquarters. As the town of Swindon is connected to Bristol by the M4, and it has great transport links through the railway, it was the first choice for the location of Mitie’s new office.
Mitie’s Neill Benham says that location is one of the primary reasons they chose Rombourne’s serviced offices in Kingston House. However, it also had the space, parking facilities, and the professional image they were looking for in a new office. Neill also adds that it was Rombourne’s professional, supportive staff that helped them to make their final decision.
He says: “Your office is more than just a space in a building; it conveys an important message, and this reflects the image of your own brand. At the end of the day, though, it’s the people that make it great! Rombourne’s staff are the ones that provide a professional image when our customers call reception, or visit the building.
“We’re very satisfied with our Rombourne experience, and we’d definitely recommend them to other businesses!”
