Cyber defence has been weakened as a result of the post-COVID change in working patterns, according to browser expert James Derbyshire, writing for Swindon-based BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT.

 “As remote work became commonplace with the onset of the pandemic, the security risk posed by employees increased exponentially” he says.  

Today’s virtual workforce operates beyond a business’ traditional security parameters, leaving organisations more vulnerable to cyber-attacks.
