Backhouse wins award for housing

A housing development in Calne has been named one of the best in the country. Housebuilder Merlin Rise project scooped Silver in the What House? Awards for best residential development.

Judges praised “an outstanding scheme of homes including feature windows to increase their visual impact, adding interest and creating focal points while at the same time optimising the natural daylight that the openings capture.”
