Chippenham-based defence technology company Engage Technical Solutions has announced that it has become employee-owned.
The company specialises in providing solutions to the defence and security sectors, offering expert advice and support in areas including logistics information, supply chains, and support engineering. It recently moved Royal Wootton Bassett to new premises at Forest Gate in Chippenham.
Introduced by the government in September 2014, the Employee Ownership Trust model aims to encourage more shareholders to set up a corporate structure similar to the John Lewis model, to facilitate wider employee-ownership via an indirect holding.
