Chippenham-based Good Energy has topped Which? magazine’s new
league table on the sustainability of energy suppliers.
The company, one of the UK’s first 100% renewable power
suppliers, has been awarded Which? magazine’s new Eco Provider badge after a
lengthy research process. Which? looked into the claims of over 40 energy
companies, asking them about their practices in buying renewable electricity
and green gas.
Each company was given a rating out of 20. Good Energy was the only company to be awarded 19 out 20. Its closest competitor was awarded 16 points.
