Some encouragement for Swindon's economic outlook has been provided by Trebor Developments and partner Hillwood, who have commenced a speculative industrial construction at Trinity Park, Hillmead, Swindon.

The new, high-quality accommodation, for manufacturing and distribution occupiers is available from 36,750 to 78,750 sq ft. Planning consent was secured earlier this year and construction commenced shortly after.

James Drew, Development Director of Trebor Developments, said, “We are pleased to commence the construction of this speculative development following another off-market site acquisition. Swindon has a long-established industrial heritage with a skilled work force and is strategically located with access to the M4 and the wider motorway network.

“We are already having positive discussions with occupiers from a range of sectors and seeing construction commence on site reinforces the message to the market that the new accommodation will be available to occupy at the end of this year.”
