SkyQuad-02

Over 300 influential leaders and business people will descend on Longleat today for the Swindon and Wiltshire Business Growth Summit which will open with the UK launch of the Parajet Xplorer Sky Quad.

The Parajet Xplorer Sky Quad has been developed by one of the UK’s most innovative aviation companies, Gilo Industries Group in Semley, Wiltshire. The Sky Quad has been in development since 2009 and will be unveiled at the event by the Group’s Founder and CEO Gilo Cardozo. Speaking about the UK launch of the Sky Quad, Gilo said:

“We have been working hard for almost 10 years to be able to launch the Parajet Xplorer Sky Quad in the UK. We are so excited to be unveiling this ultimate new hybrid adventure vehicle. It’s a road legal dune buggy, combined with a personal aircraft, designed for thrill seekers who love to explore and experience the world from a different perspective.”

The Sky Quad features new super lightweight engine technology developed by the Group’s company Rotron Power which develops the rotary engines that power the Gilo product range across the globe. This means that the Sky Quad does not require aviation certification and can now be commercialised in the UK and around the world.

John Mortimer, Chairman of the Swindon & Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership, said:

“We are delighted to be hosting the UK launch of the Parajet Xplorer Sky Quad, an example of the latest innovation at the heart of our thriving economy. The Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership are committed to our area being world-renowned for innovation, entrepreneurialism and our great quality of life. It’s businesses like Gilo Industries that will enable Swindon and Wiltshire to play our part in making the UK a global leader in the industries of the future.”

At the Business Growth Summit, Gilo will also be sharing his business story from start-up to scale-up and sharing valuable insights to help businesses in Swindon and Wiltshire develop and grow. Delegate places are FREE and can be booked at http://events.eazybook.com/swlep18 and include a complimentary day park ticket for guests to make a return visit to Longleat.
