The EUREKA network has launched a call for proposals for innovation research and development (R&D) projects aimed at enhancing industrial productivity. For this call, the focus is on advanced manufacturing businesses, food and drink processers, and automation and artificial intelligence (AI) innovators, including those applying ‘AI for design’ techniques.
The SWLEP is interested to hear from businesses that could join a UK-led partnership proposal for an integrated approach to controlled environment agriculture involving a wide range of enabling technologies. Any innovative business developing technologies such as sensors and photonics, agri-food businesses and entrepreneurs looking at new ventures, new lines and products are encouraged to make contact.
This EUREKA intiative asks for proposals that bring collaborations between business and academia in UK and Canada. Grants are available to projects which can start by October with the application deadline on 2nd May 2019.
The EUREKA network is operated by InnovateUK who through their KTN - Knowledge Transfer Networks - provide funding, knowledge and expertise in support of growing and innovative agri-food businesses. InnovateUK has other funding opportunities and will soon open for registrations to form new knowledge transfer partnerships between your business and research partners.
