A project called TechSwindon will be unveiled at a networking meeting in the town in early June. Details of the project will be revealed to members of Switch on to Swindon – an ambassador scheme aimed at boosting the reputation of the town and attracting inward investment.
The event, at the headquarters of building society Nationwide, will also feature an update on Swindon’s growth projects including the SevenCapital 'Snowdome', out of town areas like Wichelstowe, and the town centre regeneration masterplans.
It will also include the launch of a new (currently under wraps) project – TechSwindon and a new Ambassador Toolkit to help companies promote their business and Swindon.
There will be news and developments Nationwide Building Society and the chance to see some of Swindon's digital and tech companies showcase their innovation and use of technology. This free event is restricted to 400 attendees (maximum of 3 per company) so early booking is essential.
