Wiltshire Community Foundation has launched a Coronavirus response fund to provide emergency help voluntary groups across the county to support those most affected by the pandemic.

We are already hearing about some of the difficulties our vital community groups are facing, many are suffering loss of income, others are losing vital volunteers. All of this comes at a time when their services are needed more than ever.

The Wiltshire and Swindon Coronavirus Response Fund is working alongside the National Emergencies Trust’s Coronavirus Appeal to raise money for financial support to groups helping the most vulnerable people in communities all over the county.

The appeal will prioritise groups supporting individuals who are most affected by the outbreak, particularly those facing issues brought about by isolation or loss of income.

Funds raised will be distributed to charity and voluntary groups alongside Wiltshire and Swindon’s share of the National Emergencies Trust Coronavirus Appeal fund, which is being distributed through the UK’s 46 Community Foundations.

Details on how to apply for the Coronavirus Grants programme are available here.
