Chippenham-based
Wavin, a manufacturer
of plastic pipes, mainly for drainage and water supply purposes, is continually
striving to minimise the impacts of products and the use of recycled materials
is one of the ways that it is attempting to do this.
By 2025, its
goal is to increase its global recyclate usage to 25 percent, grow the
recyclability of its products to 90 percent, and achieve zero waste to
landfill.
“But in order to do this we will need to continue to innovate to ensure a high performance and high quality products,” the company said.
