Wiltshire-based Good Energy has launched a new campaign to celebrate the success of independent generators across the UK.
“Meet the Generators features a series of short films from its network of more than 1,900 businesses, non-profits and communities. The films include a hydroelectricity project in a Worcestershire and a solar project in Bristol, with owners promoting the importance of using renewable energy.
Last year they generated 698GWh – equivalent to powering all the homes in Manchester for more than a year – and contributed to customers saving more than 100,000 tonnes of carbon emissions.
