Salon: Preparing for the General Data Protection Regulation

Hartham Park, Corsham , Wiltshire
CORSHAM INSTITUTE

Come along and ask your burning GDPR questions, share your knowledge and network with other Digital Leaders in the South West

A recent report by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport, Ipsos MORI and Portsmouth University showed that only 38% of businesses and 44% of charities are aware of the General Data Protection Regulation.

With implementation of the new Act effective from 25 May 2018, there is clearly still much to be done.

How prepared are you for GDPR?

In the first Digital Leaders South West event in 2018, we’ll hear from a number of well regarded data protection speakers, including J Cromack, CCO and Karen Watson, Business Analyst both from MyLife Digital.

They will share their knowledge to help you face the challenges and opportunities that accompany the new legislation, and most importantly, how to prepare for it.

So come along and ask your burning GDPR questions, share your knowledge and network with other Digital Leaders in the South West.

Places are limited and the event will be followed by networking.
