Anni Beveridge, Musculoskeletal Health Advisor and Physio, Wiltshire Health and Care will be sharing her knowledge of how employers can better support employees with this wide-ranging health issue. She will discuss manual handling, 'Return to Work' schedules and share advice for employees and managers on what to do following an acute injury or chronic musculoskeletal issues and relevant workplace assessments to reduce or avoid health related sickness absence where possible.
Leanne Cooper-Brown is a highly specialist Occupational Therapist (OT). She has over 20 years’ experience working with the neurodiverse population and specialises in assessment and intervention. As an OT Leanne practices from the social model of disability and believes that in the right environment, anyone can achieve their desired occupations.
Ian Gardner, District Operations Manager for the DWP in Swindon and Wiltshire will explain the support that may be available to employers to assist in retaining, recruiting and supporting their workforce. Ian will cover both Access to Work and becoming a Disability Confident employer, as well as sharing other small adjustments that may make a difference to recruitment processes.
Each informal session will allow you to hear from experts on a wide-ranging set of topics to ensure wellbeing for both individuals and organisations. Topics will include:
- Financial wellbeing
- How to maintain good physical and mental health
- Benefits for organisations when giving support to their teams
- Tips for getting the most out of your teams
- How to spot areas of concerns
Workplace Wellbeing can ensure that your organisation runs smoothly, increases productivity, retains staff and reduces absence. These sessions aim to help in all these areas.

This workshop will also provide the opportunity to join in with online networking sessions so you can speak with other businesses, highlight your products or services as well as make valuable connections.
