The rollout of a town-wide full fibre network in Swindon has taken a major leap forward thanks to a new agreement between CityFibre and Swindon Borough Council.
Over 10,000 homes managed by Swindon Borough Council can now be among the first to connect to Swindon’s new town-wide full fibre network, giving residents access to faster internet services. A blanket agreement gives CityFibre permission to connect all Swindon Borough council properties to the new network it is building across the town.
CityFibre is investing £40m to bring the fastest digital connectivity to Swindon and has made swift progress on the town-wide rollout.
