Wiltshire-based IT and communications company Excalibur is
now a fully accredited ISO 27001 business. This is the internationally
recognised standard for best practice in information security management
systems (ISMS).
The team at Excalibur have spent six months updating and
introducing a wide range of procedures and policies to meet the 114 ISMS
controls required. “It took a great deal of commitment and employee
training to attain this certification for which less than 100,000 out of the
estimated 4 million UK businesses have achieved,” the company said.
“We take our customer information seriously and are very
proud of the accreditation that shows we have world-class security practices in
place, ISO 27001 is widely acknowledged as badge of credibility and trust.”
