The South West’s tech sector is set to grow to almost £20bn in terms of gross value added by 2026, which will create more than 125,000 new jobs, according to a new report.
Research by Whitecap Consulting, commissioned by Tech South West, reveals the region is rapidly becoming a global leader in environmental tech.
This is because tech firms, centres of excellence, science parks, university research, and innovation hubs are all setting up in the area along with financial technologies and robotics.
