
Chippenham-based Good Energy has said it wants to support 1m homes and businesses to cut carbon from their energy and transport use by 2025 and announced increased revenues of £146m, up 11.8 per cent year on year year.
In reported results for last year, it said that following the sale of its generation assets in January for £21.2m, the company was now debt-free on a net basis.
Overall customer numbers increased by 2.1 per cent to 277,300. Domestic customer numbers were up 1.1 per cent to 85,800 and business customers increased by 20 per cent to 11,300.
The number of electric vehicle drivers subscribing to its charging point app subsidiary Zap-Map increased by 125 per cent to 350,000. The company said further investment in Zap-Map was planned.
