Tetronics wins key Government contract

Swindon-based Tetronics, a world leader in plasma arc systems focused on decarbonising challenging industrial processes, has won a contract from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy under the UK government’s Low Carbon Hydrogen Supply 2 Competition.

This forms part of BEIS’ £1bn Net Zero Innovation Portfolio, which aims to accelerate the commercialisation of innovative clean energy technologies and processes through the 2020s and 2030s.

More specifically, HYS2 aims to catalyse innovative solutions for hydrogen production, storage and transport applications. Tetronics is claimed to be the most experienced plasma company in the world; founded on five decades of R&D and 127 patents (granted and pending), with over 20 years of operational expertise, across more than 95 global reference sites.
