Chippenham-based Wavin UK, has bolstered its commitment to achieving more sustainable operations by awarding its energy contract to Ørsted, the global leader in offshore wind and renewable energy. Ørsted will supply natural gas and 100% renewable electricity energy from April across four UK sites. The renewable electricity will come from Ørsted’s 11 operational UK wind farms and Wavin will reduce its CO2 emissions by 13.7 tonnes a year.

They’re committed to helping us to towards a sustainable future, assisting in reducing our overall consumption through efficiency, energy management and optimising onsite generation assets.”The new energy supply will cover Wavin’s four sites at Hazelhead, Chippenham, Forest Works and Doncaster for three years.
